Forty One Madison launched a series of initiatives aimed at interior designers and other decorating professionals, encouraging them to add New York Tabletop Market to their repertoire of design resources.
"So many of the tableware brands represented here at Forty One Madison are of the caliber that interest interior designers, whether they’re specifying for a residence, a yacht, a restaurant, hotel or resort," said Laurie Burns, Forty One Madison's Senior Vice President and Director. "Our mission is to help build that opportunity for business. We want to offer programming that can better acquaint and familiarize designers with these showrooms, and, in turn, help our Forty One community capitalize on this added potential for sales. We see it as the 'icing on the cake' for all."
Helping to get things started, Veranda magazine hosted the first-ever “Interior Designer Evening," which took place last week exclusively for metro-New York interior designers. Designers were invited to visit more than 24 participating showrooms, followed by a meet-the-editors Champagne reception.
Editor at Large's EditorTV, an online broadcast, trailed some of the visitors, capturing interviews and reporting on top tableware finds and favorites, and sharing some of the color and flavor from the reception.
