In conjunction with its one-year anniversary, e-commerce site The HighBoy released its first-ever mobile app to allow customers to search for, discover and purchase antiques and fine art from wherever they are.
Furthering The HighBoy’s goal to bridge the gap between antiquing and modern-day shopping, the app will be available on all tablets and mobile devices, and is available for free through the iTunes App Store, Google Play and Windows Phone Live Apps.

“We are the first of the online antique marketplace to give mobile access to Android and Windows users,” says founder Olga Granda-Scott. “It has always been our mission to disrupt the antiques industry, and by accommodating all smartphone and tablet users, we’re on the path to achieving that goal. Currently, mobile traffic comprises 35 percent of all traffic to The HighBoy, so it’s clear our customers want to shop on the go. We’re more than happy to oblige them.”
The app’s interface is inspired by the web site’s design, and provides access to the site’s full search functionality and filtering options as well as The HighBoy’s online editorial journal The Weekly. Additionally, users can “Make an Offer,” “Add to Wishlist” and identify a “Favorite Dealer.”
