Michael Boodro, Sophie Donelson and others to headline DDB market next week

The DDB Fall Market’s numbers alone are impressive: six keynotes, 70 open house events, 26 programs, 10 book signings, three cocktail receptions and more will unfold over October 19 and 20 in New York. Even more impressive is the range of keynote discussions for visitors to choose from.


DDB Fall Market kicks off Wednesday, October 19, at 9 a.m.

On the lineup for October 19 are a number of shelter magazine–centric keynotes: House Beautiful celebrates its 120 years with a talk at A. Rudin, where editor Sophie Donelson will discuss the future of design with a panel of experts including Ashley Whittaker, Jeff Andrews and Spencer RudinElle Decor editor in chief Michael Boodro and author Carl Dellatore will recognize top designers at Fabricut, and at BaccaratVeranda editor in chief Clinton Smith and contributing editor Keith Robinson will discuss home entertaining. 

The second day of market brings with it a keynote on artisanal goods, led by Traditional Home’s Tori Mellott with John Pomp, Babi Ahluwalia and Christopher Spitzmiller, held at Lapicida; a discussion at A. Rudin with Architectural Digest’s Mitchell Owens and designer-author Michelle Nussbaumer, who will talk about her latest book; and a Dakota Jackson–hosted conversation on design and architecture with David Rockwell, Hugh Hardy and Suzanne Slesin
