The annual one-day Conversations in Design symposium, part of the Interior Design Show (IDS), takes place January 26 with an agenda to inspire and innovate. This year’s theme Trailblazing and Trendspotting features a medley of 12 internationally acclaimed interior designers, architects, manufacturers, retailers, critics, curators, and industry leaders who will speak on what they look for when they design, create, manufacture, collect or commission contemporary design.
Presenters include John Bricker, Principal & Creative Director, Gensler; Michael Bruno, President, 1stdibs; Stephen Burks, Principal, Readymade Projects; Dr. Kenneth Montague, Director, The Wedge Curatorial Projects; Michele Caniato, President, Culture and Commerce and Founder, Material ConneXion; John Edelman, President and CEO, Design Within Reach; Piero Gandini, President and CEO, FLOS; Eero Koivisto, Designer, Partner, Claesson Koivisto Rune; Amy Lau, Principal, Amy Lau Design; Karim Rashid, Principal, Karim Rashid Design; Claus Sendlinger, Founder & CEO, Design Hotels AG; and Linda Tischler, Senior Editor, Fast Company.
A full day pass is $195 + HST and includes breakfast, lunch, coffee break and one ticket to the IDS Opening Night at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
