The semi-annual Las Vegas Market, July 29 – August 2, is jam-packed with networking events, entertainment, new product introductions, panel discussions and more. The International Market Center (IMC) will be abuzz with entertainment in the Grand Plaza as well as receptions hosted throughout the Market floors. And new for Summer Market, attendees will be treated like VIPs in several leading Las Vegas nightclubs for official after-parties.
“Las Vegas is known for its world-class hospitality, and IMC offers no exception when it comes to extending to our buyers and exhibitors a compelling Market experience, complete with week-long entertaining attractions and networking opportunities,” said Robert Maricich, chief executive officer of International Market Centers.

Las Vegas Market attendees will be greeted daily with complimentary breakfasts, nightly courtyard receptions, happy hours, cocktail receptions and a fundraising event for Gift for Life.

Among the highlights of Market will be the annual “Ahead of the Curve” panel discussion, moderated by Today Show contributor and author Susanna Salk, and this year featuring interior designers Alexa Hampton of Mark Hampton, LLC; Ron Woodson of Woodson and Rummerfield’s House of Design; and Windsor Smith of Windsor Smith Home, Inc.
These top designers will scour the five million square feet of showrooms at Las Vegas Market and share their top picks during a live panel discussion, which will include a question and answer segment. In a new twist this year, the best-of-the-best product will be “on set” during the event, allowing these tastemakers to share more intimately with the audience what’s hot from market and how to incorporate these fashion-forward looks into current design projects.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, July 31, at 9:00 a.m. in Building B’s WorldView Ballroom, and offers CEU-accreditation to interior designers.
"I am not only excited to host another stellar line up of top designers but also give our audience an up close look at some of the pieces these tastemakers find most exciting from market,” said Salk. “This year's refreshed format promises to be intimate and inspiring!"
The Market will also offer a robust line-up of seminar programs on everything from blogging to Feng Shui.
Market-goers can enjoy cocktails, appetizers, live music and a silent auction at the Gift for Life benefit beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, on Building B’s 16th Floor.
This year’s silent auction will feature a new “Chinese auction," whereby guests can place raffle tickets in the jars of the desired auction items. Tickets to the event cost $25 each, with the fifth ticket free after a purchase of four tickets. Tickets can be purchased here, and on-site during Las Vegas Market in the lobbies of Building A and Building C.
Attendees will also have an eclectic mix of networking events hosted by tenants and exhibitors, including Imagine That!, American Elegance by Omnia Leather, Phillips Collection, Burton+BURTON, Michael Aram, Hstudio, s.a.l.t. sisters, VIETRI and dozens more.
Three official after-parties will take place in Las Vegas’ top nightclubs—Pure at Caesars Palace on Tuesday, July 30, at 10:30 p.m.; Chateau at Paris Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 31, at 10:30 p.m.; and the newly-opened hot spot Hakkasan at the MGM Grand on Thursday, August 1, at 10:00 p.m. VIP entry is complimentary for market-goers donning their market badge.
A complete schedule of events and receptions is available here. Stay tuned for EditorTV coverage.
