With the rising demand for shorter lead times and one-stop shopping, Kravet has introduced CuratedKravet.com, a to-the-trade e-commerce initiative offering designers a selection of ready-to-ship and made-to-order home furnishings and accessories. Over two years in the making, the site offers an assortment of handpicked items from around the world, sourced by a team of buyers who hail from One Kings Lane, Bergdorf Goodman and Jonathan Adler.
Jonathan Adler, left, and Nate Berkus, right, will both be future curators for the site.
“Our hope for CuratedKravet.com is to provide designers with an inclusive solution for all of their design needs,” said Cary Kravet, president of Kravet. “The goal of the site is to combine reliable service and quality with unique items across a broad range of product categories, simplifying the sourcing process and saving designers time and effort.”
Young Huh and Brian Patrick Flynn will also serve as future curators.
But CuratedKravet.com is not only about exclusive accessibility to products for designers. The website features a “shop-the-room” component, where noted design talents such as Alexa Hampton and Nick Olsen serve as “curators,” designing rooms that are fully merchandised with CuratedKravet.com furniture and accessories. Future curators will include Barbara Barry, Barclay Butera, Candice Olson, Jeffrey Alan Marks, Jonathan Adler, Nate Berkus, Thom Filicia and more. It is also possible to shop the site by category and by trends.

Items such as these used in Alexa Hampton's curated room will be available exclusively through the site.
Additionally, CuratedKravet.com features a ready-to-ship upholstery program, which the company hopes will fill a void in the interior design industry, providing high-quality products without the wait of a custom piece. The program features best-selling Kravet sofa, chair and ottoman frames and finishes in a selection of Kravet fabrics, packed and ready to ship.
CuratedKravet.com will launch at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 20.
