Interior design duo Yabu Pushelberg will release their first book next month with Architecture/Interiors Press, Inc. The book features 220 pages of the firm’s top hotel, retail, restaurant and residential interior design projects worldwide, including Bergdorf Goodman, the Carolina Herrera boutique, and Tiffany & Co. Wall Street in New York; the Four Seasons in Tokyo; Louis Vuitton VIP suites in Hong Kong; The Hazelton Hotel in Toronto; the art-filled St. Regis hotel in San Francisco; Lane Crawford department stores in Beijing and Hong Kong; and Fin and Shibuya restaurants in Las Vegas. Also included are residences in New York, Toronto, and Miami. The book includes six vibrant essays by William Norwich, contributing editor to Vogue and former Style and Entertaining editor of The New York Times Magazine. The pieces are each dedicated to a specific aspect of the design process or the elements of style. George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg founded the design studio in 1980 and have been creating distinctive environments for a diverse and high-profile clientele ever since. George and Glenn have been named to Interior Design magazine’s Hall of Fame, among other awards. Yabu Pushelberg is known for developing innovative interiors in collaboration with its clients, experimenting with new materials and forging relationships with independent artists. Launch events are planned for fall at Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. The Yabu Pushelberg book will retail for US$70.
