The Shade Store is opening shop-in-shops within eight Kravet showrooms this fall: New York; Los Angeles; San Francisco; Chicago; Boston; Dallas; Washington, DC; Philadelphia; Bethpage, NY; and Naples, FL. Trading its A&D Building showroom for a swanky spot in SoHo, Exquisite Surfaces aims to tap a new, downtown clientele. (95 Vandam St., NYC) Canvas Home has also swapped its Chelsea location for SoHo. (426 Broome St., NYC) In its new SoHo showroom, lighting design company Roll & Hill expands its product mix to include upholstery and cabinetry by the company’s founder, Jason Miller, as well as Golran carpets, Philippe Malouin shelving and vintage Finn Juhl.
