Leron, Inc. is seeking an energetic and personable individual to work part time in our small, 100-year old, custom linen company. Located in the historic Silks Building in Long Island City, the position provides administrative support in creating the most exquisite bed, bath, and table linens in the world. Our clients are top designers and high profile individuals who demand the very best.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and flexible enough to work as part of a team, pitching in where needed. Usually the first person our customers meet or talk to on the phone, the qualified applicant will be outgoing and poised.
Three days a week to start. Hourly rate to be discussed. Position has opportunities for growth, including full time employment. References required.
Strong computer skills required. Experience with Word, Excel, Drop Box, Google Drive, and Photoshop a must. Familiarity with Quickbooks and Filemaker helpful. IT troubleshooting, as well as coordination with outside computer consultant and digital agency, is part of the job.
Also required: excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities include handling customer phone calls and e-mail, credit card charges, order processing, database updates, UPS and Fedex, showroom assistance, digital library, supplies, and filing.
