Top rated San Francisco home furnishings store and favorite of leading publications, such as C Magazine, House Beautiful, and SF Magazine is looking for the ideal candidate to represent and grow our retail location and e-commerce brand. This is a full-time position for someone with gallery / showroom sales experience. The ideal candidate is design savvy, personable, articulate, hard-working and self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial flair to become the Anyon Atelier brand ambassador.
Minimum of three years sales / sales management experience in home furnishings or luxury goods
Relationship management across all levels including design clients, trade professionals, retail customers, and vendors
Work extensively with Shopify POS system and oversee lifecycle of online sales, reporting, and reconciliation
Have strategic understanding of how to build an online presence through solid brand positioning, audience engagement & sales capture
Deliver excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
Work closely with principal and interior design team to fulfill design client purchasing
Demonstrate consistent sales growth and profitability
Demonstrate comprehensive Artist and Vendor product knowledge that exemplifies the Anyon brand by developing new sources, creating custom commissions & order opportunities
Maintain seasonal buying under guidance of Principal, in addition to processing merchandise shipments and order fulfillments
Merchandising and maintenance of inventory, orders and product sell through with in-depth analysis of profit & margin performance
Maintain overall appearance and organization of gallery.
Take initiative to complete opening/closing procedures and maintains security of physical inventory
Full time position -35 hrs. per week - Saturdays not required.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and expertise
Commission on art /selected furnishings and competitive hourly rate

Mature, pleasant and professional in manner and appearance
Strong work ethic, both independently and as part of a team
Highly organized self-starter with strong time management skills
Demonstrate a history of attention to detail and follow- through
Flexible and resourceful
Dependable & service oriented
Excellent oral and written communication and skills
Have strong computer skills, MAC a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Shopify, and willingness to learn new software programs quickly
