Job Description

Customer Service/Showroom Sales
This is a position for a highly motivated person who possesses skilled customer service experience and superb communication skills. Highly developed skills in word, excel and related computer programs and comfortable with a wide range of office tasks and technology. Must have knowledge in the area of textiles or related field such as wallcovering, furniture, rugs, home furnishings .
• A friendly, professional and poised demeanor is required in assisting client for this luxury showroom
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated passion for excellence in providing the best customer experience
• 5 year of customer service experience
Responsibilities Include
• Handle incoming call and inquiries regarding product, inventory, pricing
• Oversee and place fabric reserves, orders and process payments
• Make decisions, solve problems, analyze information for excellent customer service experience
• Liaison daily with Italian division of customer service daily to communicate territory sales needs and questions
• Communicate and deliver clear and precise communications to customers regarding all aspects of the ordering process
• Look to members of the team to assist you in situations where you need outside expertise.
• Actively engage with the customers regarding pricing issues, fabric availability and re-selection, credit requirements/applications, resale certificates and financial statements.
• Assist in showroom sales
• Suport sales efforts for the NY territory include NY, NJ and CT.

Job Requirements

• BA or BS degree preferred
• 5 years’ experience in customer service in textiles, home furnishings, or other related business related fields where demonstrated problem solving and customer resolution methods have been employed.
