Blinds To Go
Blinds To Go is looking for a Shop-at-Home Design Consultant to join our industry-leading customer service and sales team. As an In-Home Consultant, you will work directly with our customers who prefer at-home consultations and service. Our Shop-at-Home unit extends our brand to homeowners and small business owners who require this service. New Shop-At-Home Design Consultant will work 2-4 months in our showrooms to learn our business and systems and develop needed relationships. Currently hiring in Northern New Jersey/New York area.
o Good oral communication skills (talking and listening)
o Minimum 2 years’ experience as design consultant in window treatments or related business; shop-at-home experience preferred
o Able to work with computers for order entry, pricing and payments systems
o Accreditation from a decorating or design program and/or membership in a professional organization is desirable
o Strong sense of home fashions, creativity or a good sense of visual appeal is desirable
o Good professional and fashion presence
o Able to work flexible hours that accommodate the customer needs including some evenings and weekends
o Able to work independently and with a team
o Must have a reliable car
Must pass background check and be insurable
