Job Title: Outside Sales Associate
Reports To: General Manager/VP Sales

Job Summary
The Outside Sales Associate is Holly Hunt’s primary face to the client. Their goal is to make the Designer look good to their clients, assist Designer/ clients with purchasing suggestions and decisions, maximize sales, and assure that Holly Hunt is easy to do business with. They must bring the experience of the showroom out to the client by setting up appointments and presentations with both contract/hospitality and residential design firms, creating a partnership with the showroom in order to drive business in.

Principal Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Be an expert on all products including how product is made, how it is maintained, how to customizes, etc.
• General knowledge of the requirements needed in contract projects
• Effective working knowledge of Targit and Navision and any updates added to system
• Generate and maintain relationships with clients
• Prospect new accounts
• Meet and exceed personal, territory and company sales goals
• Make appointment for presentation of new collections or corporate/vendor visits. Order memo/tear sheet requests following meeting
• Communicate findings from client appointments to inside showroom team
• Make appointment to meet clients in showroom
• Generate/follow up with quotes
• Knowledge of converting quotes to sales, handling payment/deposit, and securing documents necessary for order processing when appropriate
• Provide direction to and coordinating with Customer Service
• Update client libraries, ensuring all clients in territory are presented with most-up-to-date products and resources available
• Submit Sales Call Report to GM weekly
• Set up weekly/monthly meetings with GM to review and strategize
• Submit Outlook Calendar appointments for the following week to GM and CC sales team when applicable
• Work showroom sales floor to cover scheduled PTO of GM or Sales Associate
• Be a team player
• Acknowledge every client that comes into the showroom anytime in the showroom

Education:
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
2 plus years of outside sales related to interior design
Skills:
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Organized, detailed oriented, and self driven
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook

Job Requirements

Prefer candidate based in either Brooklyn or Queens
Car Required
Organized and Detailed
A people person
