Matt Camron Rugs
We are looking for a motivated part-time or full-time sales associate to help grow our expanding business in Washington DC. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become a part of a growing luxury retail operation with a national presence. The candidate ideally should be a sales professional with an eye for design and knowledge of the DC design community. The associate will be based out of our Georgetown showroom and help manage the day-to-day operations as well as nurturing new and existing relationships with interior designers. Hours are flexible but ideally we are looking for a candidate to work a minimum of 25-30 hours/wk including 4 hours on Saturday.
Greeting incoming clients
Assisting in choosing rug designs for projects
Creating client proposals
Daily upkeep and organization of the showroom
Scheduling client appointments in the showroom and meeting clients on-site
Design industry or sales experience is a plus
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Interest in social media platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and blogs
Able to lift small to medium items up to 25 lbs.
Valid drivers license
