Rose Tarlow-Melrose House is seeking a Textile Customer Service Manager responsible for overseeing Textile Operations specifically Customer Service, Purchasing, Sewing and Shipping Departments at the Rose Tarlow-Melrose House Warehouse in North Hollywood.
-Effectively manage a small team employees including the desire to foster personal growth in each.
-Administer performance evaluations, maintain employees time cards|attendance|vacation, payroll and year end salary reviews.
-Assign and supervise the team's tasks to assure that they meet the highest quality standards and are completed on time.
-Manage Customer Service order entry|maintenance, expediting, returns|accommodations with an emphasis on problem solving and quick decision making.
-Manage Sewing Department's execution of memo production, project specific showroom consignment, client outreach and fabrication of launch materials in Spring + Fall.
-Manage Shipping Department's outbound and inbound shipments. Build strong partnerships with oversees and local suppliers to ship textiles on time and on budget. Oversee inbound quality control. A keen eye for color and weave structure preferred.
-Responsibilities to CFO include: sampling expense reports and recommendations for inventory disposition.
-Significant leader, an "influencer" with the desire to foster growth within each employee and the company as a whole.
-Demonstrates the ability support and is sensitive to others while finding solutions to problems quickly and effectively.
-Ability to prioritize special projects, critical needs of the business and the routine with a sense of urgency. Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of incoming communication.
-Process oriented with an attention to detail and structure. Focused on creating new or improving existing systems.
-Presentable, professional image in all communication.
-Highly proficient computer skills, specifically word, excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of PDF/Comet a plus.
-A strong desire to learn and grow.
-Forward thinking, motivated with a passion for textiles!

Today, Rose Tarlow-Melrose House products, furniture, fabric, lighting, including Cox London are sold at the company's flagships on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles and 3rd Avenue in New York.
