Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the hands-on management of order entry, shipping, inventory management, customer service and delivery & installation of USM’s day-to day sales business. Reporting to the Head of the US subsidiary, this position’s primary responsibility requires organizational effectiveness and ability to improve workflow.

- Process daily orders using in-house software
- Oversee accuracy and timely placement of projects and stock orders according to pre-determined schedule
- Support distribution network by offering optimal service especially concerning lead-time and transportation
 -Select national shipping companies and negotiate long term deals with them in order to optimize delivery
 -Oversee international freight and its relevant documentation in conjunction with USM export and logistic teams
- Oversee claims and warranty support service in order to offer great and efficient customer experience
- Improve operational systems and processes
 -Oversee inventory on hand especially the Quick Ship and Fast Track programs : ensure sufficient stock is always available to fulfil clients requirements
 -Manage small team and communicate easily with other departments

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in complimentary field of study
-Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
-At least 3 years’ experience in Operations Management
-Previous people management experience
-Strong experience in working with logistics systems and ERPs
-Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook as well as prior experience working with proprietary software programs
-Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices
-Ability to look at situations from several point of views
-Mature and with a natural authority
