The Visual Merchandising Department is responsible for the creative vision of our corporate showrooms. We create a cohesive visual experience working closely with Product Design and Marketing to ensure a consistent brand message.
The Visual Merchandising Associate is responsible to ensure corporate visual guidelines are distributed and implemented successfully and on time in assigned showrooms. Reporting to the Director of Visual Merchandising and Showroom Design, this position will be responsible to flawlessly execute the corporate visual and merchandising standards. He/She will partner with our Merchandising team to create on trend and on brand merchandising message. The team will collaborate by sharing design, fashion and styling ideas and inspirations to continually stay on trend.
Essential Functions :
Create cohesive and thoughtful visual merchandising strategy for the assigned corporate Showrooms.
Implement displays and showroom installations according to corporate standards and timelines.
Actively participate in showroom management to make the best visual decisions for that showroom while maintaining the corporate visual standards.
Partner with the Director of Visual Merchandising and Showroom Design to plan and implement floor moves. Manage inventory and product to drive sales.
Demonstrate awareness of current advertising and marketing campaigns, new product launches and update showroom visuals accordingly.
Bring forward ideas and suggestions for the merchandising of product.
Contribute ideas for the overall and specific displays, focusing on current product and selling tools.
Assist in mapping and planning of product placement in the showroom.
Partners with all functions of the visual merchandising department to support a cohesive strategy.
Associates required or Bachelors degree preferred with 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or related field.
Ability to balance creativity and business acumen.
Comprehensive understanding of merchandising initiatives and development process.
Curious, investigative, detailed, organized, flexible and resourceful.
Acts as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and aesthetic.
Has a strong understanding of trend and style reflective of the brand.
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs.
Travel is required.
