Canterbury Tile Collection
Grange introduces Canterbury Tile: encaustic colorful cement tiles from Vietnam inspired by those first produced in France in the middle 19th century. Known for their deep, rich colors, intricate designs and durability, encaustic tiles quickly spread to Spain, England and all over Europe, where they can still be seen in many chateaux, grand homes and public buildings. A Hundred years ago the French moved production of the tiles to Morocco and Vietnam and still today these countries produce the best cement tiles in the world. Encaustic cement tiles are a green product, non-fired and made of natural aggregate pigment and cement.
